Where's the scooby gang?

I'm about half-way through season 4 of Buffy (just watched Hush, very good) and I got the musical soundtrack in the mail yesterday (and have listened to it 3 times today already). This has all got me thinking I miss my scooby gang. I've had several groups of friends over the years, the closest I believe was the group in Anchorage. I miss being

The moving is definitely hard on a friends group. I feel so fortunate that we fell into one here. Have you looked to see if there is a scifi group or something out there?

Even with the University, this is not really Sci-Fi country. This tends to be hunting, fishing, NASCAR country. There is a RPG club on campus. I'm waiting for classes to start back and see what they're about. Plus, I don't live in the city so it harder to find people. I'll keep looking, or just become the crazy cat woman :)
