I have finished my first year of University. I do not have to take Chemistry again, and for that I am oh so happy. I got an A- in the Chemistry lab (missed an A by 2 !$#@*& points) and I should get an A in the Chem class. We will get our grades this week some time. I'm about half-way through season 4 of Buffy (just watched Hush, very good) and I got the musical soundtrack in the mail yesterday (and have listened to it 3 times today already). I'm into my second week of University and I've survived so far. I'm only taking two classes, one with 471 people and one with 200+ people, so I haven't really made friends with anyone in my class yet. I did get a job working at the library on campus. So I started University on Monday. I have an easy class "Careers in Natural Resources", and then there's Chemistry. I already feel lost. Chemistry relies on math, another subject I'm not so good at. So my first post-retirement job has ended after just over one month of employment. The termination was initiated by me, so it's all on me The job was as a kennel tech at a Vet Hospital in Missoula. I am the proud new owner of Bandit, a Golden Retriever/Shepard mix. He is 4 years old (approx) and was surrendered by his previous owner because he "didn't have time for a dog." So, I am here in Montana. I actually got here on 20 May, but due to many boxes to unpack and trying to find an internet provider I just got my computer up and running last week.
