Aunt Laura pulled through her hip replacement surgery because she is amazing. It was really cool because although she has been having good days and bad days, she was entirely lucid the morning of her scheduled surgery, and she told my mom (who is her power of attorney) that she definitely wanted to go through with it, so that had to be a big relief ( Read more... )
