I didn't think it was possible for the guy to sound more unhinged and hateful than he already did. This case really brought out the best in him, didn't it?
I think it's really tied into that black and white, us vs them mentality that he and those like him can't get past. Like many have said, and you pointed out in your excellent talk_poltics post, it's not enough that Zimmerman was found legally "not guilty" (a verdict I may not like, but will accept; I can even understand why, legally, it was the correct verdict.) But that's not enough. The Zimmerman/Martin confrontation can't be the complex, difficult to unpack, mess that it really was: it has to be that Zimmerman is a saint in ALL things... which means conversely that Martin was irredeemable in all things... nay, he was a "thug!" A "drugged out hooligan!" EVIL
