Diet thru Ice Cream
my weight has been creeping up and up for a few years. I despaired of getting it back down again but this week I have lost 4 pounds due to the magic of ice cream. I bought Ice cream because I wanted it and i allowed myself to have some it I followed good portion control at other times. I wanted to remind myself of sucess. -
SCA 50 year
WE went to SCA 50 for just this first weekend. It was not thrifty, it was not sensible but I am glad I did. John wanted to go and I made noises about the fact the event was priced from the day you went, not how long you stayed. Like Pennsic but cheaper, but I did Not sit down and really tell him that. LJ is becoming that weird little coffee shop that you are not sure how it stays afloat but you are glad it does so you can come sometimes and have a drink and get something off your chest. Notes about heart
So last Tuesday, I went to bed with a racing heart. I have had more than one racing heart episode, some are small and end soonish and 2 previous ones have had me in the emergency room. Katie
It is the end of an era, today I took Katie to the vet for the last time. She seems to have had a stroke while we were gone to Simple Day. She and Bart had been the kids' only pets. we got them in 2000, Pensic 30. She had been aging but we knew when we got home that she was not well. She was sprawled out unnaturally on the stairs . Weekend update
A nothing special weekend and that is kinda special. We saw Mad Max and went to the Zoo. We enjoyed having big parts of the weekend to ourselves which is special because we have 5 grown-ups living at the house.
