But ya know what, it's kinda cool...cuz i'm not upset or anything about it. I figured i would be pissed that i worked my ass off for my anthro ( Read more... )

Haha. Dad tried using that on me already tonight. He was doing his patented high pitched laugh as he recalled how his GPA was .2 points higher than mine currently is. And to think, i'm doing this at a fluff school like Northwestern!

yeah, no worries. i definitely have two c's. i mean, c'mon. someone has to earn all those lower grades i'm sure they pass out. we're just takin' one for the team.

yeah, i haven't really been paying attention to the march madness. i kinda don't know what's going on any more.

sorry to hear about your grampa. :(

we should definitely have a doulbe-date or something and go for thai food some time. i've only had it like once. i can tell my Megan Went On A Date With Some Random Guy Before She Went Out With Dave And It Was At Thai Sookdee And It Sucked story.

Woah! That story DEFINITELY needs to be told, whether we're at Thai food or not! Anyway, two Wisconsonian teams are in the Sweet 16. You should pay attention and cheer on Wisconsin and Wisconsin-Milwaukee!

i think i knew about the thai sookdee, but i don't think i've ever actually heard the story. i think i just remember being in dan's room (of course) when you came back and mentioned it and being jealous.

go panthers! illinois SUCKS!

(what's the deal with the bruce pearl/illinois '89 thing?)

congrats on the c, and welcome to the club. in a class like that, you should almost be proud just to pass it.

that's sad about your grandpa... mine is probably at about the same age and has used a walker for a few years now, but he's not really ill or anything, just severe arthritis. do you keep in contact with him?

i think i've only had thai food once, but i have this idea in my head that it has peanut sauce on everything and that doesn't sound very good.

oh, and when are you coming back? i went grocery shopping and got toilet paper, paper towels, double stufs, sprite, and crushed red pepper... no carrots or buffalo wings though.

Thai food is orgasmic. I don't like peanut sauce, so clearly not everything has peanut sauce. It's just a lot of stir fry, mostly spicy, and extremely good. So that's that.

I've seen my grandparents almost every day since i've been home. So that's been good. And i call them pretty often from school. Remind me to do that this quarter!

Don't you worry...i'll get the carrots and buffalo wings.
