We talked with Chris' dad tonight about 10 pm. Chris had a successful tracheotomy tonight, and was resting in his room. The procedure lasted only about 30 minutes, and he seemed to go through it very well. His dad said he was noticeably more comfortable and in less pain than earlier today.

I sat through 2 hours of the most boring, brain-frying, toenail scraping meeting of my life this morning.

I'm still alive.

I'm at work. It's continuously becoming less and less stressful. Monday was horribly stressful. Tuesday got better. And today's even better. I was freezing last night. And it may have been the greatest feeling i've ever had. I got so sick of waking up in a pool of sweat back in Evanston. And when you can never get comfortable, you can never get a good night's sleep. So i felt groggy for the past few weeks. Anyway, in this air conditioned apartment, i slept from 11 PM to 11:30 AM.
