I'm glad you feel that way about it. I always root for somebody in any game or series I watch, and if I even need to think about it I usually decide in moments. This was probably the first NBA Finals I've watched in which I was really torn ( ... )

In the overall scheme of things, Larry Brown lacks something. But i wouldn't call it class. Maybe it's just common sense? Common sense says you don't talk to another team while coaching your own team in the Conference Finals. But class is when you will take a time out so that you can prolong an ovation for a retiring opposing player. Class is taking your team to half-court at the end of a hard-fought series to give said player a personal ovation. Class is telling your players you love them with 10 seconds left in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. And class is always, ALWAYS, congratulating the other team after they beat you or even when you beat them before you mention anything else. And in that sense, Larry Brown has more class than nearly any other coach on the planet.
