i've read about it before and it doesn't change my opinion in the slightest. i'm against routine circumcision on infants. if people choose to be circumcised later in life that's their own decision.
plus, i think a better way to prevent new aids cases would be to supply them with condoms and educate them. cutting off flesh should hardly be prefered to a condom.
then there's the fact that they don't even know for sure if it's the circumcision that's protective. it may be the sexual practices. in europe where most people aren't circumcised the cases of aids are much lower as compared to the united states where male infant circumcision rates are somewhere around 60 percent (and i believe in the 70's it was around 90%)
