The Bengal's game was very disappointing, even if you take away the horrible embarrassing loss. I hate Bengal's fans! We are all cry babies. There were two groups of two NE fans sitting near us and they almost come to blows with Cin fans three or four times. One was sitting on the aisle and as Cin fans walked they would hit him in the head. ( Read more... )

i think that may be true of all serious sports fans. it's sad that some people stop being decent human beings when it comes to cheering on a team.

It seems like sports tend to bring out the worst in people's desire to wage war against someone who flies a different flag. People get all worked up in support of their team---it's almost like they are fighting for something they believe in rather than enjoying it as a competitive sport.

It seems to become very "Us against Them" in an unhealthy way.

That is just SAD! I didn't know that about the fans, but I guess in a way it doesn't suprise me.

Yea it is sad, and I didn't expect either. I left disapointed. I don't know if/when I will go back. I hope it won't be like that everytime.

Yeah they were completely vicious. The guys behind us kept yelling "You look horrible!!" to the defense and stuff and we were so close im sure they all heard it. What ever happened to supporting your team? We didn't have problems like you did, but the fans really irritated me too.

However, I really enjoyed the game, even though we got our asses kicked :)
