New oven for the house. (The old one has been sitting dormant since the burner/fireball incident of several weeks ago. Life with only a toaster oven and microwave has been interesting, if not slimming.)
Appointment for furnace replacement/current needs diagnosis set for next week
Quote for new roof should be coming any day now.

It's Official
I'm turning over the house to Jen and moving to the Massachusetts version of the cabin in the mountains in New Hampshire.
I love my house, but I know it will be in good hands and well taken care of. I feel good leaving it in her care, I think the house might like her better, anyhow.
My monthly expenses will be fairly lower than they've been ( Read more... ) -
Turkey Day in Almost May
A turkey who was probably pretty close to half my size came to the door just outside my office today and knocked for a good five minutes... whacking his beak against the glass, but a knock none the less. This was the beginning of bizarro day. A fair beginning if I do say so myself.
