I did it!! Graduation Reeeemix
At 10:30am, I officially graduated! It's a bit crazy that I'm now an MSW (Master of Social Work) after just 8 months! However, I LOVE that it only took me 8 months!! I think that all of my concentration (community and administrative practice) classmates were at the ceremony. It's funny how so quickly you can develop a close knit group. I just need to complain
I got food poisoning yesterday which sucks but the timing sucks even more. This weekend I was supposed to get tons of work done. Instead, I'm barely wrapping up the group project I have do Tuesday and will hopefully have my portion to my other group by midnight. I feel kind of shaky still but that probably has to do with the super limited amount ( Read more... ) -
Anyone watch America's Best Dance Crew?
Let me rant. There's a damn rollerskating break dancing/hip hop dancing whatever group from Kokomo, IN. I can't stand them. They can't dance! They do the same 4 moves on their skates and tonight they pumped out an all girl dance crew. The girls Fysh N' Chips were hardcore and hot and had an amazing performance! Grr!! Surprise!
After having every MLK Jr. ignored by either school or work, I was happily surprised today when I went to my internship and no one was there! I even got out of the car and walked around to make sure I wasn't just really lucky that EVERYONE was late and I got a good parking spot.

Mid-terms and fruitcake
I'm working on a mid-term for my policy class. It was kickin my ass but now that I'm 3/5ths of the way through, I think the tables have turned. I've gone Mac Guyver on my pants...
The pants I have on today were bought at the lovely thrift store. They're nice, I look good in them. But, when I put them on this morning I had for got that 1 of the 4 buttons were gone. No big deal, it's only the second one from the bottom and I remembered that I had worn them before with the one less button issue.
