being home is a good feeling, a nice relaxing feeling. even though only alex is home, it's nice to see familiar things and be at home

This may be out of place...but figuring out what you want sometimes takes someone else to make you realize what it is you're searching for?

And some people just fit into your life differently... :)

I always advise not to make too many choices. Don't go out looking for something, because you'll never find it.
You wind up trying to force things to be what they aren't, trying to shove that square peg into the round hole. It ain't gonna fit buddy. So just go out and let things be what they will. Take everything for what it is, instead of what you wish it was. And sooner or later you'll have that epiphany. You'll realize suddenly that what you have is exactly what you want. And the only way you'll ever find it is to never look for it.
