Grown ups are so bloody stupid sometimes.

What's up, Dyllie?

It is just annoying when people would rather bicker about their own problems instead of looking outside themselves to help someone else.

Your Uncle Liam came over earlier and he and my mother and Finian engaged in a rather loud argument about Deirdre. But they went to visit her now. Together. And I hope all is well. Even if this means I do have to resort to microwaved sustenance for tea.

Yes. It is.

Also ewwwwww Uncle Liam. But I'm glad they're cooperating now. That'll be good for Desi. You can always come here for tea, Dyllie, though it might be microwaved as well...

I do believe I will take my chances. The company shall far outweigh the fear of artificially re-heated 'foodstuffs'.

Darling, what happened?

I explained it to Evey. But it was merely a parental quarrel over who messed Deirdre's life up more. Because apparently that is more important than actually trying to help her.

Stupid parents.

Yes, I see. That is a stupid thing to fight over, but they probably needed to do it to get over their own problems and fears regarding Deirdre's state of mind. You see, I have some experience myself with pointless fighting when energies could much better be directed elsewhere. Sometimes, people just need to vent. You found a better solution, though. I'm sure you helped not only your parents, but Deirdre as well. We're all lucky to have you, Dylan, and I'm very glad that I'll be seeing you soon for tea. I always love to see you *smiles*

Well, I certainly cannot argue with that. Can I do anything for you, Dylan?

I am fine. Though I do require a step-stool to reach the freezer to get my dinner. It's rather a pest of a thing.

I would have invited you to have tea here, but Evey beat me to it! I will say anyway, that you are always welcome here, and Del heartily agrees. It is a good time to be here, Lexie is feeling much better after getting away from a bad boyfriend, so that lifts everyone's spirits. Anyway, have a good time with Evey, Renee and the others! And perhaps you will come here to visit us soon :)

Only little in stature, Sir Tamm. 'Twould take far more than stupid people to rend my heart asunder.

Don't make me ponder it, I'll try to write out the equation and that could take very long indeed.

And thank you for the compliment, Sir Tamm. I very much appreciate it!

Yeah they totally can be sometimes.

But some of them are really awesome and they make up for it.

You are certainly correct there, my beautiful Lydia. And your father shall ever be one of the ones that makes up for it.
