So... it's about time for an update. Major things are happening.

John & I are moving. To Van Wert, Ohio. You don't know where that is, you say? It's in northwestern Ohio, right between East Bumfuck & the Boondocks. Population 10,000. I am at work right now. Not working. I'm pretending like I'm cleaning computer lab 122, but I'm really sitting in computer lab 122, eating a sandwich, surfing the web, & hiding from the crazy Jamaican lady I am working with today. This morning John & I went to the Wexner Center to see the "Shiny" exhibit. They had one of the coolest exhibits I've seen in a long time. There was a piece by Andy Warhol called "Silver Clouds." It's Halloween. It is my favorite holiday, but I am far from excited. Today I got up, came to work, will leave in about 40 minutes, & then I will go home to shower, eat, & wait 4 hours for John to come home. Working has been going on, eh. Which is good. Hurrah for money.

John & I are finally getting cable up in this joint on Thursday. For the first month we get every channel Time Warner offers. T - 2 days & counting until no life. On the flipside, T - 2 days & counting until more than 4 channels.

I am pretty sure this apartment is never going to look like a regular apartment. It looks way better than the pic I posted in the last entry, but still coming along slowly. My biggest problem is that our storage unit is already completely full (whole different story altogether...), so I have all these empty plastic tubs with no place to put them. ( Read more... )

Johnny boy & I are all moved in the new place. It took all freakin' weekend, literally, even with help from my parents, Andy, & Anthony. Maybe someday we will get everything organized.
