I got on Law Review.

It means not a lot to those not in law school, but it's pretty fucking rad for me. It means that I have a better chance at a whole bunch of law firms. There was this terrible competition to get on, where you had to write a huge paper with on 6 days.

Awesome.

After weeks of stress, I finally have an interview with the Chicago Public Schools legal department. It's for an unpaid internship, but often these unpaid summer internships lead to paid positions later down the road.

This is EXACTLY what I've always wanted to do!! Um, a job in school law? EXCELLENT!!

Dear Law School Registrars:
You can pretty much suck it. It is necessary to schedule all of the classes so that, if one is taking the curriculum that YOU propose, one is in class from 9 AM to 9 PM with 5 hour breaks in between? Seriously?

I'm just saying -

Why would you go to a restaurant serving a Easter brunch buffet for a 4:30 dinner? Nothing says "Jesus has Risen" like eggs that have been sitting on a hot plate since 11:00 AM and black potato wedges.

Yum.

In the past couple of months, I've started rapidly gaining all kinds of weird weight. Something like 10 lbs in 2-3 months. Yikes. Back on the thyroid medication I go. Hopefully it will do something, or at least stop the weight gain, because I can't afford any new clothes.

In other news, school is kicking my butt.
