It's so sad and so unfair to Sunmi, to Jae and to himself too.

But I really enjoyed it, the interaction between Jae and Yunho was so amusing and so heart warming, thank you for the beautiful story!

nice! i actually had a nice long playlist for this story: songs like Sea of Love, Breathe Me, I Will Follow You into the Dark, etc., but this particular one fit well for the title, haha, so it got the pick! it's quite pretty :)

thank you so much! i'm glad you read, and enjoyed ♥

I think Yunho is ultimately going to hurt his wife anyway, even though he's said the vows and followed through on his family's desired future for him.

************

"The sun was up but hidden by the building heights around them, the sky still bland with morning."

I have to comment on this, because it recalls an actual moment in my own life.

For my high school prom night, we went at it ALL night. When morning finally came around, we were in the shadow of tall buildings. I turned a corner into the early rising sun, and immediately felt all my strength drain away completely. Like I was an exposed vampire.

It was the brick wall end of a wild, crazy evening.

Once again, I salute your writing skills...

Most likely so, but Yunho's too soft-hearted, he's certainly going to do his best not to hurt anyone. Even Jaejoong and he didn't part on bad terms :')

And yea, I've had a few such experiences myself! Like I was an exposed vampire ahaha I know exactly how that feels. Thank you so much, bb, I'm glad you liked it, and appreciate the comment ♥!

I have no idea who I feel bad for the most. Guess I don't have to pick =(
It was a bittersweet journey although I must say I didn't see the end coming. *sigh* Yunho, you should've done something. Just... something.
would love to read a sequel to this ^_^

Thanks for reading, bb! I actually did think of including an epilogue... I had their whole future planned out, ups and downs until they reached a semi-happy ending. Ultimately, though, it wasn't a part of this story, so I left it out (but I wouldn't mind sharing with you if you'd like, haha ;D)

haha weellllll....

Jaejoong moves away shortly after the wedding, and he and Yunho lose contact. Yunho’s wedding is obviously an unhappy one, but to “fix” things they start a family, even though they aren’t prepared for it. Sunmi has to quit her job to take care of their two boys - something she eventually comes to resent. 8 years into the marriage, Sunmi finally confesses to Yunho her unhappiness; that she thinks they made a mistake in marrying so young just because their families wanted it. Yunho is relieved and decides to confess, as well -but doesn’t get the same reaction. Sunmi is hurt and furious and it’s a bitter divorce- but she at least lets him keep primary custody of the boys. That’s all Yunho cares about, and the boys adore their father, so it works out ( ... )

I wholeheartedly agree with you! That's exactly the issue I wanted to address when I first started out with the story. There's no easy answer as what's "right", because the situation is different for every person- that's why I wanted to keep the story contained within a single night, to highlight the internal conflict that Yunho was facing at the literal 'eleventh hour'. Up until he met Jaejoong he felt he didn't have a choice, but once given it, how would he react? He made the choice that I'm sure many people have made before, and it's sad that they're put in that position in the first place, torn between their true selves and who they think they're supposed to be: who people expect them to be.

/long commentary is long, sorry, lol, but I am glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for commenting, I appreciate it!
