Celebrating Labor Day

Sep 01, 2007 14:18

I have a tradition of acknowledging national holidays in my own weird way and doing so took me up the road quite a ways yesterday. This is why I spent Friday in New Bern.

More about this plus pimping for the American Red Cross. )

I'm sorry things are running more stressful at your mom's this week. Hopefully you'll be able to find out what about the holiday is making her more stressed which in turn is raising your stress level. Good luck over the next couple of days. ~hugs Llama tightly~

Take your time, don't stress out about the posting. If we could wait for you to return to us we can wait a little while til you have time to post. Granted I've been haunting LJ and worrying at not seeing anything from you. But I knew you'd post when you could. As for the Saiyuki piece you have... I think my Icon will tell you how I feel about the chance to read it. Of course right now I'm totally hooked on Y/K/A, but I'll be watching for the Saiyuki once you feel ready to post it. ~More hugs for the Llama~

Ah, Cat, I appreciate the patience and am doubly sorry for the silence of late. I never figured out if there was a trigger for this recent spate of problems or not, but I'm muddling through all the same ( ... )

Please do some Painful Lessons after "Backlash" is completed. BTw, the only place I've found "burial" subbed is at veoh.com. It's a Youtube-ish type site.

Okay, one vote for inserting "Painful Lessons" between books 5 & 6 of the Realizations Arc. That's cool. Thanks, bro.

As for Burial, hmmm... I wonder if it's been licensed or not? That might be our best chance of getting it eventually.

If I didn't have some health issues, I would gladly donate blood. I know there are certain restrictions to that, which keeps some people from doing it >.>.

Love the new banner and I'm quite amused that Hiro Yuuki is dressed like his character. It's probably the most manly I've ever seen him.

And don't worry about the fanfiction. If I can wait 3 years for you to return, I can definitely longer for fanfiction.

Now I'm failing at writing sentence. *headdesk*

Yeah, I need that Omi icon more than anything now.

Ah, poor Carter! Don't worry over little typos like that. I knew what you meant.

As for Yuuki-san in that image, yeah, I thought the same thing. I actually think they are ALL supposed to look "very Weiss" there and the possessive way Miki-hoshi has his hand on Koyasu-sama supports all manner of things. Overall a lucky find that I was glad to share. So, why is Seki-kun all alone that way? Sad.

{nods understandingly about blood donation restrictions and feels sometimes it really IS the thought that counts}

I know, I shouldn't worry about things like that. It's when I leave out a word that makes the sentence completely different than what it should be that bothers me (and that was a long sentence I just wrote).

Ahh, poor Seki-san. He needs to be hugged in that (preferably by Koyasu and Miki cause...yay, Weiss threesome in reality)!

I'm very happy to hear from a fellow donor! That's great news.

I hope that 4-day weekend was wonderful and that you had more fun than mere words can ever say! Any holiday that includes bishounen is all the more fun, that's for certain.

Patience is not a virtue that my muses embrace, StarShadow. But I'll pass your words of encouragement along to them and hopefully we can get more out when it can be done without adding stress to our little corner of the galaxy. {grateful huggle}
