Heheheh! Just having some fun is a VERY appealing notion right now, bro. Getting through the current storm event does point out what I've been telling you about our weather, though. Summer is a challenge.

As for the Richmond meal debacle, who knows? It wasn't the best of dining experiences, but down here that's more of a sure thing. After all, in an area like this, there's not much else to do for entertainment, so the food is fabulous.

Hey have fun with the girls! I remember how much you used to talk about them in LJ land and in the ANs of your stories so I can imagine how much you miss having them with you all the time. The time to get away will hopefully help to reenergize you as well.

Don't worry about the story. I've got patience and I'm sure everyone else understands as well. And those that don't. Well... ~chucks them off a tall cliff while no one is watching.~ ...I'm sure they will live. Regards to a comment in an earlier post reply, I hear you on the concern of losing your work again. I just backed up my main files because I thought I was getting ready to lose my computer. Luckily it turned out to be something simpler and easier to fix. Still it's good to have it done. I know you are doing that these days also but it's hard to find the time to do it every day or every time you make additions so... yeah. -_-;;

Hopefully the weather won't give you too much trouble but with the pressure fronts. ~offers hugs, pain meds, cocoa and cold compresses~

Yeah, my chibi girls were big figures in the notes of old fics. I recall taking heat from certain fools for that, but that just means they don't understand the true importance of family.

As for those impatient types, well, let them go leave an encouraging review at MM.org or something. That at least is a constructive way to deal with it.

Backing up regularly is easier to do with an external hard drive, that's for sure. I'm glad your own recent scary situation resolved itself easily enough.
