will be staying in the Frederick County 4-H Camp Center in Frederick from Monday and Tuesday --Should that be for Monday and Tuesday or from Monday to Tuesday?
Eastern National 4-H Forest Roundup in Louisville, Ky. --Why isn't KY capitalized? I know there's a period at the end, but it's signifying the end of the sentence, not the abbreviation.

I apologize for being picky, and I know it's not your fault. You just write the papers. You don't have to proofread them. So, uh...get better copy editors in there at the Gazette. (Of course, it is Frederick, so no one else cares about stupid mistakes.) :)

2. Kentucky (KY) is not capitalized because we go by The Associated Press Stylebook standards. These designated abbreviations are to be used in any mention of the state. Examples include: Ala., Ariz., W. Va., Md. and Wyo.The capitalized form is to be used for a full mailing address only.
3. You found the mistake! They had moved quotes around at the very last minute and forgot to change other things.
Haha, if I was in charge of the hiring process, I'd still have to keep the copy editor. She's my editor too, haha.
