Rebirth

Well I figure I should use this again. if nothing than a repository for the rants that no one else wants to listen to.

So for 14 years I lived in Virginia. last september I moved back to my home state of Michigan. I have an amazing job, still working on purchasing a house (might be a bit until I get to that) but either way I'm getting settled.

There are many people out there who stick with friends of convenience; if you are convenient for them to get hold of and what not, then the friendship is strong. Wish that wasn't the way of things, but there you have it. Given what you went thru with people in VA, it's not surprising that you're hesitant in reconnecting with those that appeared to be the type I mentioned. I think you can take it slow and see how things go. While a friendship is made of two people, the other party does not have the right to dictate to you how you respond to them.

And we will get together chica! It might be weeks or months between visits, given our schedules, but that's better than years!! *big hugs* You don't get rid of the Tuzi that easily, bwah ha ha ha!

And you're right i'm a bit gunshy because I've been conditioned to be that way. I'm going to message my doctor to see about referring a therapist. I think its been long over due to have a talk with someone.
