...I bought one. To be fair I exchanged my bike. The road bike is nice and was super cheap. You get what you pay for too though. I noticed that the shifting was not smooth and problems with it. Wasn't too happy with the design of the levers. Also When I ride with friends, its usually on gravel paths. So with this cross bike I can do both. I can ( Read more... )

Love it! I bought a cross bike this summer too, but it's geared more towards the comfort side than road... mine has a huge comfy seat, I can't bring myself to ride on one of those little seats yet. I really want to buy a cross like that next summer though... but I told myself I can't buy one til I get super in shape so we will see how that goes haha.

Where do you ride?

oh and if you ever need a cheap repair or advice or something, Joe worked as a mechanic at at bike shop in Elmhurst for 4 years (where I bought mine from) lol.

Nice! I do need to learn how to repair bikes as well some day. Tonight I rode with a few guys around the area at Knoch Knolls in Naperville. They also had some of the barricades set up and I practiced on them. It was a fun time.
