Well, that makes two friends of mine doing these.
So if the pass rate's 80% there's a good (64%) chance you'll both have passed.
Hope that's the case!

I think you're making an unreasonable assumption there. And I don't think it's the assumption that their grades are independent ;-)

I agree with your mom: I can't remember any exam that you thought you'd passed. I attribute the complete divergence between your success at exams and your negative expectations about the same to possible incompetence on the part of your examiners. ;)
