My brother tells me that the song "Renegade Master" refers to several famous DJs of the type often called "underground".

In particular, he tells me that there were DJs called Renegade Master and Damager.

But he might be making this up. Does anyone have an alternative theory?

I've decided to record the books that I read during a year, starting last Monday 3rd January. This is for personal interest and to see if I read more or fewer books when I'm far too busy at work to consider reading anything. I will also record the books that I reread during the year to attempt to understand my peculiar reading choices.

I need to dress up to represent Canada on Friday and to take along various representative bits and bobs.

The current plan is:

• Dressing up as a moose, wearing brown clothes, fluffy moose ears, brown cardboard hooves and some face paint. (This is the costume for the girls, the boys are dressing as lumberjacks.)
