It's been a rough month:  My mom died, my boss got into a car accident, I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I've started a new session of storytime and am doing it twice as often as I used to not to mention all the additional work I'm doing while acting for my boss.  I'm stressed.  I'm not sleeping well, I'm not eating a lot (I'm not hungry), I've got ( Read more... )

I'm not vegetarian--I'm pescatarian.

As of January 1:  No more poultry or red meat.  I'm livin' on veggies & seafood.  And pasta.  And beans...actually I'm not limiting myself that much at all when you think about it.  It's been fairly easy, too.  Which is good.

I had a terrible day today.  So bad, in fact that I don't even want to talk about it because it will piss me off.

Needless to say, when I got off work, I was thrilled.  I was happy not only to be out of the role as public servant, but that I had a Christmas party to go to AND I got to dress up.

I had to call the cops Sunday night.

Okay, I guess I didn't have to.

My neighbors were threatening physical violence against one another in the parking lot.  There was a lot of hollering involved.  The best part was:  THE COPS ACTUALLY SHOWED UP.  Not only that, they had a little visit with my neighbors for a considerable amount of time (15-20 ( Read more... )

I'm headed to Michigan on Monday.  I'll be back the following Monday (super-duper late).

Luckily my best buddy will be there on both ends to act as a buffer.  Final goodbyes are awful.

2-8 weeks she has.

She doesn't even think she's sick.

Now I have to go home and be some kind of rock for these people who...*shudder*

Will I get time to grieve?  Or will I be too busy "making friends" with my awful family?

I shouldn't be so bitter.
Fuck it.  Yes I should.

I get so emotional during just before "lady time".

It's unbelievable how much more wet my tears feel, how big they feel.

I'm such a baby.
