Okay, first: I fail at reviewing. Fail, fail FAIL. I'm so sorry.
Second: YAY THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER AND THEY'VE GOT FORTUNA AND JACKIE CAME WITH THEM AND YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!
ahem.
Apparently, I've been on tenterhooks since you dragged me backwards through a briar patch and hornets' nest with your version of "Doomsday". You've fixed it. Hooray! :D
Oh YAY!!! Go Brem! And poor Jackie . . . she gets Pete back again but then loses him but she's such a good Grandma . . I can't tell you how much I ADORE these kids.
Awesome. Do I have first post? Even more awesome. shoot, missed it by three
And then Jackie said, abruptly, “I’m coming with you.”
This totally threw me. But it's so obvious, isn't it? Jackie, given the choice between Daughter and Second-Pete, would take Rose any day of the week. Obviously so.
“I have so much to tell you,” Athena said. “First off, Daddy does not know how to braid.
I absolutely laughed out loud. Athena rocks.
He walked over to her, looked at her for a long moment with solemn brown eyes. “Mummy,” he said, finally, and his voice broke on the word, and he was on her suddenly, crying huge, wracking sobs while he tried to burrow into her.
She had the impression that he was crying all the tears he had never cried over her, and the thought made her gather him to her, rocking him in a way he hadn’t let her in so very long, much longer than the year they’d been separated in her timeline, lowering her face into him and sobbing with him.

It's true. But getting him back at all was a bonus she never expected. And it's true that she's such a good grandma.
