Erasmus! Donde Caroline?

They have sixty acres of land, most of it fields for growing straw for the livestock, some of it streams and tangles of brambles and trees, horrid thickets of wild roses that do me mischief whenever they're able. I was going to post, "You live a charmed life,", but that's not really what I mean. Perhaps, "You live in a charming tale," but that leaves off the darkness beneath, the dirt and the tears and the shadows, without which it would not hold half the beauty that it does. I shall have to search for a perfect phrase, and gift it to you upon your return. For now, know that I miss you.

Oh, goodness. I miss you so much.

I think I might be purling! And knitting! Together! It's sloppy, but I'm figuring it out. So We should hang out soon, with our without the excuse of knitting class. I'll be home in one week.

That's excellent! I figured out how to do a thing that I think I was telling you how to do wrong! Um. I'll show you, that's easier.

But, yes, let's please. Unless I am horribly misinformed I believe Lady Tapestry shall be venturing home around the time you are, as well!

I feel rather jealous of that man's name being Erasmus. What on earth! How old is he? It sounds like another age.

More than anything, I just wish there were a few pictures of you in these places.

He's about thirty-five, forty?

So do I! My camera was stolen last year, and I can't bring myself to get another.

You can! Join WWOOF USA. Or WWOOF Europe. Or WWOOF UK. Or anywhere, really. I work five hours a day, five days a week, for room and board. Usually I work ten hours a day, five days a week, and only barely make enough money for rent and bills and food. I'm obviously in the wrong business.

The only real problem is that while I love my grandmother and my boss, I wouldn't want to live with either of them, let alone a weird hybrid of both of them. Although I think I'd adore my host beyond all reason if I only worked with her, I'm a bit exhausted of her company.
