I should be no surprise to anyone that I am a very technical person, and very deliberate in most cases. So I survived the wrath of Irene. No damage to my apartment, but I lost power at about 8:30 Saturday night and just today (Tuesday) had it restored. So, what's a geek to do while sitting in the dark? Take pictures by candlelight, of course.
