Let me preface this by saying that E was out of control-OUT OF CONTROL the other day. I mean completely and willfully disobedient and defiant. Saying no just to say it and pushing every button. By the end of the night, we knew we were going to lose it soon.

Sigh, indeed. That first realization that sometimes "sorry" just isn't enough. There's a valuable lesson for her in all of this, but it doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.

Hugs you and I marvel at the amount of sheer stamina and patience you have to have.

Don't you hate those days? When they are driving you crazy, and then end up making you feel like you've destroyed them? Today, after an unreasonably crazy morning, Jarrett overheard me tell my in-laws that we could just give the kids away, and got horribly upset. Yes, they are allowed to be total brats and such, but should we get frustrated and express that frustration, we are horrible people. And that's how we feel, too, somehow. Ugh. Another day, another ideal broken....
