Ezra showed me all his pictures from Corsica, Nice, and Paris tonight after dinner. They were so amazing. I want and almost need to travel to France so badly. My desire to go there is even worse now after seeing Ezra’s photos then it was before. At least this spring break I will get a chance to see Oregon and Canada. It’s amazing how alive the rain can make you feel, standing outside and feeling the wind and the cold and the wet. Reaching your arms out underneath the darkend night sky and closing your eyes.

But also so sad and alone.

Weather is such a magnificent trigger for emotions.

I don’t really understand how that works, but it does.

For the past three nights I have been awake in bed thinking about life guarding and the pool. I have no idea why. And I don’t think about the hot weather, when we had to use umbrellas and would just guard in our swimsuits.
