Hoping for a better outcome in "Power of Love" then the movie. Very disappointed in DelMar's feelings towards Jack in this chapter. Sometimes I wonder how Jack can "stand it"! Constant hurt and disappointment he endures over and over again. As usual interesting story with tons of emotion.

Ennis is desperate, clinging to Alma as a solution.
Both are the same, but nobody dares talk aa, and even if they did ... will have a taste of separation.

Powerful chapter - so sad to see how really scared Ennis is - no wonder Jack had another mountaint to climb to get Ennis to accept a different way of life.

And poor Jack - how hurt he was.....well, that's love - it will bring you ecstasy as well as pain.

But I am so hoping for a different ending than the movie - as much as I love the movie, it always breaks my heart.
