I haven't posted in a very long time, and have much to update about wedding plans and Aunt Mike losing her long fight with cancer two weeks ago and my new brother-in-law's chemotherapy starting today and exciting new things at work and our wonderful kitty and new nourishing friendships and shedding layers and prayer and discovering how exercise is

It's actually a song called You Rise and Meet the Day by Dar Williams. It's on the My Better Self album.

As mentioned above, life at the Farmhouse has been an interesting mix of blessings, beauty, and tragedy over the past few months. I'm pretty amazed at our ability to weather storms and sunshine with similar amounts of grace.

Awww...I love you, too, Bear:) It's odd, I can count on two hands the number of times we've seen each other in person and yet, you feel like family. I really treasure that. Hope you are well! *hugs*
