She's a young Brit writer. Her first book, White Teeth was something of a critical success so I ended up having to read it for a class. (Her other two novels have met significantly less acclaim.) Anyway, every time she wanted you to know that Something Was Funny or Should Be Considered Relevant or was A Wry Comment On Society she would capitalize. She did it roughly fifteen times per page. I was ready to burn that damn book.
