School's out...forever! :)

Graduation here I come.

I'm at that moment right before the big first drop on the rollercoaster. I'm either going to scream the whole way down or the adrenaline is going to kick in and I'm going to have the time of my life. Summer classes are about halfway over and I can't wait to just be done already. I fear it's only going to get worse before it gets better. The internship is very slow in work right now. They are frustrated by my lack of chargeable hours but if there's no work to be done then there's not much I can do. What little free time I have had has been spent ( Read more... )

Summer classes start in about a month. I received a job offer from the company I did my internship with and will be starting as a full-time tax accountant come next January. Life is coming at me so fast now. My beloved tax internship is over in 2 weeks and I'm going to be looking for a new job. I really hope they decide to hire me back on when I graduate because I really like it. I graduate in December. After close to 20 years of spending my life at school I will be done with it forever. I love my internship. Who would of thought someone could actually enjoy doing tax returns? My in-charge says I'm doing a great job which makes me feel really good since I was so nervous coming into this. Tax 101 training...what an experience.
