I have loved working from home during the day. Thanks to Tom I have a screen hand made to fit my sliding glass door frame so I can have a gentle breeze blowing in while I'm at the computer. I finished my Oncology Massage training last week - right after my sinus and respiratory infection and right before my surgery this week. It used to scare me - working with such medically fragile people - but now it is a blessing. I know what I can and cannot do physically, but the real challenge has been the mental aspect. Thanks to good self-care, I've been pain-free and back to work. My new office in the Berry Hill section of Nashville is quiet, peaceful and a calming space to work in.
