If one is going to break a beaker, one should do so spectacularly. The beaker is supposed to keep the centrifuge tube you're collecting crude cyclohexene cold post distillation. I swear I want to keep updating this regularly but I'm super busy right now with school. Comparative World History Midterm tomorrow, lab tomorrow, etc. Registered for summer classes, biology. Spent all day studying for chemistry midterm tomorrow (today?). Woke up at 11, started studying at 2. Studied from 2-7, then from 8-12, now from 12-2. Granted, there was a lab write up in there, and the times are probably not exact. 11 hours plus or minus an hour and half maybe, I don't know. A really long time. I was invited to participate in a focus group for high achieving PSU students. Apparently this means I get to spend an hour and a half in front of a faculty committee answering questions about the honor's program. It's sort of flattering and impressive to say: "I'm part of a focus group of PSU's best and brightest" but really there are about six ( Read more... ) -

Today was not a particularly good day. Went to Mark's funeral. It went longer then expected, so I wasn't able to make it back in time for my lab. First lab of the term, I'm sure my lab partners loooooooove me and I have to do the stupid make up lab at the end of the term. The funeral was very nice and I'm glad I went. I guess you could say I have been prevailed upon to return to livejournal. I've fell out of the habit of blogging steadily as school has become more energy consuming and all but stopped entirely during and after Washington, DC.
