I once made a list of 101 things that I wanted to do in 1001 days.  I recently found that list and wanted to revisit it to see how many of the things I have done 17 months after the 1001 days were up.

Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted. Life is pretty much the same, with a few differences. I am still not working. I am a week into my new life as a non-smoker. I am 3 weeks away from surgery that will change my life. My heart has been broken and mended and broken again. And still life goes on ( Read more... )

Here are some things that I want to accomplish this year:

1. Become a non-smoker again. 
2. Buy a new couch (and not just new-to-me).  Completed mid-Feb.
3. Buy a new bed frame and mattress. Completed May 9.
4. Go on a trip that involves a passport and an airplane.  Can't fly until at least Jan 2009.  :(
5. Lose 50 lbs and keep it off.

I could survive for 1 minute, 13 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor
