I still don't know if I'll be able to squeeze in a side trip to Vancouver when I visit my uncle in Seattle, but my shiny new passport arrived today, easing my worries that paying extra money for expedited processing was for naught. I finally got around to submitting my passport application today. My old one was issued when I was a minor and expired a decade ago, so I couldn't just go through the renewal process. I decided to also apply for one of the new passport cards since I can keep that in my wallet and use it to visit Canada by land without worrying about the potential ( Read more... )
