Horray! Finally our heater is fixed.

My Uncle in Birmingham collapsed a few days ago. They found him the next day, and his blood sugar was 1300. I have never heard of blood sugar that high. The docs in the hospital decided he must have had a "massive" heart attack.... plus his kidneys are completely shut down. So they couldn't do the angiogram because the dye needs to be processed ( Read more... )

I have a nasty cold/flu thing that just won't go AWAY! Uncle Wookie is still not feeling well, and it has been a horrible week for several reasons. My kids seem to be doing well and that's good ( Read more... )

I went to the ER friday night, and they gave me some pills (progesterone) and it does seem to have helped. I am still bleeding, though, and will go see another doc on monday.

I am feeling lots better, but still taking it easy. I think I will be able to get through the work week without bleeding through all my clothes.

I have an appointment with a doc on monday. Hopefully the bleeding will ease off  for the weekend if I just sit or lay around and don't do anything. The only other alternative is to show up at Grady.

This is incredibly boring. 

I had another bad day. I just don't feel very firmly connected to my body.

I thought I was dying last night. Uncle Wookie went out and while he was gone my fibroid turmors started hemorrhaging. I went through 3 extra-long-fat pads in ten minutes.
