Today in Women's Studies class, I was given a tampon in a jar of water. I got to see the tampon in action and it was the most exposure I've had to one at the same time. I like to think of it as a trophy marking my achievement as a male feminist.

Being pathetically below average isn't so bad. I caught part of the baseball Hall of Fame ceremony last night but the part that really stuck with me was Buck O'Neil's speech. You can hear it here or you can just read the transcript. But it's not the same just reading the transcript. It's just such an honest, moving speech, he has such an uplifting look on life.

It's a little disturbing seeing so many girls who can't be any older than 14 walking around with bags from Victoria's Secret, which is a common occurance since I work close to one. What they wear isn't any of my business but on top of it just not seeming right to me, it seems like a waste of money. At least wait until you're through the whole ( Read more... )

Once again, it has been so long since I've written that I don't know where to start. I'm done with school for the summer, and ended up with just under a 3.0 GPA for the semester.
