Our front garden, once thick with foliage, looks like it had been hit with Agent Orange.

Oh yeah. Half our pot plants have died and the ants are attacking the cacti like there's no tomorrow. Poor cacti.

And what's that they say about 'leafy eastern suburbs'? Bah. Not this year. Didn't even get the pretty autumn colours. They're just brown.

Poor cacti. At least it lived up (for a short while) as a desert plant.
The trees outside are bare. It looks like winter has kicked in extraordinarily early. (Until you look two trees down and see bright green leaves.)
