Comfort? Really? Ugh. That girl annoyed me from the first moment she opened her mouth.

I agree that they should bring in a non-competitor just to really challenge whomever she gets partnered with. I think that would show far more range and/or talent than someone having to partner someone not good.

well, apparently jessica is out of the competition all together, not just this one week -- and it's not like she could be out for this week, have a replacement, and then judges vote her off. it's all up to the audience now, and they would be stupid because the judges were mean to her (duh, she's not excelling!)

with any luck, we will get rid of comfort.

A couple of TWoP forumites went to the show and talked to Jessica afterwards. She said something about hoping she recovered so she could go on the tour. Her doctor told her not to dance for 4 weeks, which would effectively put her out of the competition.

So I'm guessing that even though Comfort is back in the show, she's still not on the tour? My suspicion is that's how Nigel convinced the others to finally vote her off. He pointed out that even though they've both got weaknesses, Jessica would be better on tour.

the top twelve dancers actually go on tour -- those voted out the week before the top 10 are the alternates, and they are in some of the larger group numbers. (Anya and Hok were the alternates on tour last year, but word is, they did a lot of regular dancing for alternates) i think that's why they kept Comfort on for as long as they did -- they wanted her hip hop style as an option on tour, so they "needed" her as an alternate ( ... )
