I'm very intrigued by this story so far... Poor Lester, it must be so hard losing one of the senses you so rely on. I may have to give the smut a miss (not a slash fan) but I'm definitely interested in what's causing Lester's condition and if it is related to the anomalies.

Poor Lester indeed, he's having a rough time of it! The smut is fairly isolated in the next part, so you should be okay to skip over it.
