since i've been home a lot, i've been cleaning up a storm. it seems to make my roommate happy--she's not here as much as i am--and it makes it easier to get things done in a clean apartment. in other domestic news, we now have a functioning oven. since we moved in, my doorknob and the oven had been broken. my doorknob is still broken. the hole ( Read more... )

roaches are resilient bastards. even when i flick them off my desk and they crash into the wall they don't fall off or miss a step. poisonous sprays and powders seem to do nothing except make my throat sore. my sister said that only roaches and cher would survive the apocalypse.

sunshine lollipops and rainbows everything that's wonderful is what i've got when we're together. but the way she sings it sounds like she's mad at you and about to break your face. that could be maniac producer quincy jones coming through, but i think lesley was a mean girl from tenefly who could rough you up.

yesterday i saw 2 animated movies at new roc city. they wouldn't let us bring in the delicious italian combo hero from the deli down the street. then again, just showing up with a black plastic bag that smells like ham and italian dressing isn't so stealth. we only paid for corpse bride and then slipped into the other theater for the were-rabbit ( Read more... )
