So I thought the silver lining was showing up. Turns out is was a gas pocket waiting to explode. I was approved for unemployment around the beginning of this month. I got 3 checks and then a letter stating that my employer was still contesting my claim so I'm denied again because I "voluntarily resigned". Here's the deal... I was in the middle ( Read more... )

I gotta find a job. This has gotten to be a nasty ridiculous war at the casino, and it is literally making me crazy (er). I've applied everywhere I can think, I've asked for favors, I've hand delivered resumes. I'm close to visiting the HR department at OSH and St. John to find out WTF happens when I apply. I am not the only crazy person to dress up my dog. Bella (our chi-pom) was a witch, Boss (the pit/lab) was a devil. Been busy. Not doing anything tho. Went to get my Obama sign. Apparently hiding the headquarters was some kind of sick joke played by some mean ass hat. Walked cherry street, went to Peace of Mind, got a beautiful chakra banner, some meditation cd's and a book on meditation. Felt much more grounded after being there. Still waiting on osh. Why would the nursing director be calling for references even after they sent a reject letter? Dan lost his wallet. That is tragic. Alf is on. That's tragic too. I NEED A JOB!

I didn't get the job at ok surg. I got a rejection letter today. Sad sad day for me.
