I think one of the biggest difficulties of living in Japan is not the language barrier. Nor is the constant rain, the drafty appartments with no dryer so you have let shit sit all day, or even earthquakes. The biggest threat to my well being is the abundence of cheap alcohol. I'd say as a whole I've met some cool people out here. We just got some new instructors; one's from Canadia and the other from Nebraska. Largely most of the fellow gaijin I meet are great people ( Read more... )

Yeah I'm still alive and kickin' it. NOVA, the company I work for, has a great set up to keep their employees from getting lost. Lots of handholding, maps, and directions. Best part was the paid transportation(for me and my suitcases) from the airport to my place ( Read more... )
