I was pretty sure that I was the only person who remembered/longed for Vienetta still. That is the only time I ever recall television advertising being so effective. I begged my parents to buy it after I saw the commercial for the first time, and the images DID NOT LIE.
Both of your talk about this as-yet-unknown to me product made me seek the Internet's knowledge, which lead me to this Making of VienettaYoutube Video. It is really fun, at least for the first 20 seconds. *Squirt* *Wiggle* *Sploot!*
It makes me happy that I'm not alone in this dessert-inspired-nostalgia!!
It has to have been literally about 10 years since I'd had it. I swear they stopped making it. When I dug in the other night, it was every bit as delicious as I'd remembered, if not more.
And do show us pictures of your Gingerbread house? If you don't have a hosting place Picasa Web makes it really easy if you have a Google account already (everyone has to have at least one by law, right? ;)
