becoming nostalgic: my drug induced college haze and the aftermath (a poetry collection)

this is the chosen title of my livejournal which i have decided to dump because, well, i think the title says it all. my life has taken a turn that doesn't include writing shitty poetry. so, goodnight...

It's a good day for mother russia he said
his eyes stained a bright merlot red
talking about how he's glad i left that cd in his car
its great,
laughs full of scarcasm
and a 'thanks, a lot,'
no problem as he slips back into the nihilistic dream
of where we are all nothing again
but you're my favorite
and i love you too

i haven't posted in awhile so i thought i might update this thingy...I feel uncomfortable talking to a glowing screen for some reason. It's weird to think that kids growing up now find this all so natural, so normal. the springtime makes out
grabs and fondles winter air
see song-birds of prey

i've been thinking a lot about the sping. maybe write something more substantial about it.

is it bad im thinking about you
that this isnt even a poem
that all i can think of,
and it's all your fault,is the summer
the days i spent in the sun
the mornings that blended into everything to me
because i loved there, i should stop before i realize im drunk
and typing again
typing silly things
making myself feel dumb.

i thought the pain would smolder now
we lit fires and watched them burn
watched the speed they caught us in
and now im nursing my wounds
paper-cuts bleeding through the tissue
in bright hearts
and im still surprised at how red blood can be
