It's so nice to see a post from you again. How have you been?

The article mentioned intermarrying, but I think its also just a fact that over time, people move. The longer people stay in this country, the less they feel the need to identify as Hungarian, German, Italian, Polish, etc. - they're just American. There's less need for enclaves.

The other factor, I think, is that now immigration means Latinos, Asians, Indians, Middle Easterners - "people of color." It's no longer flavors of Europeans. Next to all these non-white ethnicities, we're all white.
