This is what has been happening:

* Mom and her hubby came over for some sightseeing and, in exchange for us acting as travel agents and tour guides, paid for our trip.  We saw Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Nürnburg/Erlangen, Cologne, and Aachen.  Paris awed me, Amsterdam charmed me, Brussels sugarized me, Nürnburg/Erlangen felt like coming home, the ( Read more... )

Congrats on the 15 years! Hee on the jacket your firstborn has taken a shine to. And have fun at Mrs. Sporty. I don't think I would know what to do at a place like that, but it looks like spouses get to use the fitness room at this university, so maybe I'll get to find out. (I just can't see running when there's six feet of snow on the ground.)

Well, I will have somebody there to help me figure things out, and I will have to set goals and check in every few months. I'm hoping the accountability part will get me going. I can't imagine going to the gym through six feet of snow! Do you get to take classes for free?

I think there is some kind of discount on classes. When your spouse is the only professor in the department, though, there isn't a lot of class hours left where you can swap places between childcare parent and in-class parent. But who knows, maybe something interesting will come up.
